In collaboration with Derya Köroğlu, he composed the soundtrack of the movie “Derman”, directed by Şerif Gören in 1983. The soundtrack earned the Best Film Music Award in Golden Orange Film Festival.

The soundtrack of “Benim Sinemalarım”, directed by Füruzan and Gülsün Karamustafa. The film attended Cairo and Toronto film festivals and earned “Cinema Critics-Special Award” in 1990 Teheran Film Festival.

The soundtrack of “Berdel”, written and directed by Atıf Yılmaz in 1990. The film earned the “Arthouse & Experimental Movies Special Award” in 41th Berlin International Film Festival. Additionally, the film earned “The Best Film” award both in Italy, Viareggio and Spain, Valencia in 1990.
